I loved Amarcord's location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I also love their location in Soho. I wrote about my shopping trip at their Williamsburg location last Friday. After visiting the Brooklyn location I couldn't wait to visit their Soho store.
Amacord's Soho location was super bright, inviting and perfectly arranged. As a color lover I really appreciate how they arrange the clothing by color. It makes it so much easier for me to shop as I always go for colorful pieces. As soon as I introduced myself to the sales girl and plopped my stuff down near the register I hurried over to check out the most colorful clothing rack in the store. I loved every single piece I picked up. I also loved the fancy fitting rooms that go so perfectly with the store's theme and decor. I tried on several outfits and fell in love everything I tried on. I am a vintage lover with no preference for designer vintage clothes but it happened that everything I tried on was a designer piece. They were so luxurious and very well made. I now have a greater appreciation for vintage designer clothing. They are timeless and I'll continue to send everyone I know who is looking for amazing and one of a kind pieces to Amarcord.
I hurts so much that I wasn't able to buy all or some of the pieces. My closet has officially exploded with clothes now in several areas of my apartment. Also my credit card bill brings me to tears. So I passed on all of the items especially with my hubby/photographer keeping such a close eye on my every move and making sure I stick to my no shopping pact. But I'll go back very soon to find the perfect piece that will be well worth the splurge!
Have you been to either of Amarcord's locations? Which location is your favorite?
