Shop Til You Drop

Happy 2016!! Shop to you drop is my motto. I'm a vintage loving shopaholic and literally shopped until I dropped last year. I discovered so many amazing vintage shops and boutiques in 2015. I have a long list of more vintage stores to visit this year. Stay tuned! Here's a recap of a few of my favorite vintage stores in New York City that I featured on my blog in 2015. Enjoy!

East Village Vintage Collective
I could not live without East Village Vintage Collective! They opened in August 2015 in the East Village and is the cutest store ever with nostalgic toys, records and the best curated vintage clothes and accessories around at amazingly affordable prices. I came across this vintage shop on Instagram and have become a regular. They are my go to for vintage dresses, skirts and all other things vintage and nostalgic. This shop is a must for any vintage loving fashionista on a budget. I guarantee that you'll find plenty of vintage goodies at this store as it's super organized and extremely well curated with a super awesome staff that is knowledgeable and very friendly!

East Village Vintage Collective is located at 545 East 12th St (between Avenues A & B). Follow East Village Vintage Collective on Instagram @evvintagecollective & like their Facebook page East Village Vintage Collective. Hamlets Vintage
I never leave Hamlet's without scoring a great vintage piece or two. This is the second vintage clothing store I ever shopped so many years ago. Hamlet is more than happy to help find whatever you need and more. He always has spot-on suggestions for things to try on that you will surely love. He has a great eye for fashion. I especially love Hamlet's because of the excellent selection of skirts, dresses, blazers, hats, and coats. They also have a great selection of evening and party dresses. The store is well curated and I love that I can always find a complete outfit there. You'll thoroughly enjoy your shopping trip at Hamlet's because of the great selection of vintage fashion, cute vintage decor and very the well knowledgeable, fashionable and friendly Hamlet!

Check out Hamlet's Vintage at 146 West 4th street (between 6th Ave & Macdougal street). Also check them out on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter @hamletsvintage. Check out one of my shopping trips at Hamlet's Vintage here!

Fox of Fawn Bushwick
I discovered this awesome vintage store on Instagram and read about them in several articles on vintage shopping in New York City. What an amazing find! They have an really phenomenal selection of dresses, skirts, coats, jewelry and accessories. I never leave Fox & Fawn Bushwick without a bag full of the perfect vintage treasures. This is a well organized and curated store that I know you'll find several pieces that you must bring home. I'm in love with their super affordable prices! You can also buy, sell and trade here which is awesome for those of us that have more vintage clothes that we can wear in this life time. I highly recommend Fox & Fawn Bushwick as you won't be disappointed with their awesome selection and very affordable prices. If the location is out of your way, don't worry as there are quite a few other really good vintage shops and restaurants near by so you can make a fun vintage shopping crawl in Bushwick.

Fox & Fawn Bushwick is located at 222 Varet St between Bogart & White Sts. They also have a Greenpoint location at 570 Manhattan Ave between Driggs Ave & Nassau St. Follow them on Instagram & Facebook  @foxandfawnbushwick. Be sure to check out my shopping adventure at Fox & Fawn Bushwick here
While you're in Bushwick, you have to check out The Lowry Estate. This cute boutique is loaded with so many beautiful vintage pieces. Corliss, the boutique founder does an excellent job with stocking this cute boutique with nothing but the best vintage finds. I love that she has just the right amount of pieces so this cozy space doesn't feel overwhelming like some other small vintage shops. Head to The Lowry Estate is you want a warm and friendly greeting as soon as you walk in and to fall in love with vintage pieces that you will surely want to bring home. I LOVE every piece in this shop and can't wait for my next trip there. I would buy the entire shop if I could. But for now I'll head there every chance I get for the out of this world vintage dresses and skirts which are always on my shopping list. I also love that each piece is carefully selected to be part of the boutique and that Corliss has such an outstanding eye and passion for fashion.
