#OOTD a.k.a outfit of the day...As a fashion and social media addict this is one of my favorite hashtags. To date this hashtag has been used over eighty two million times. Wow! I don't know about you but I am fascinated with what other people are wearing whether it's good, bad or otherwise. I of course really enjoy the good outfits especially when they are a bit casual, bright and funky like I always aspire to dress. I'm always on the look out for new style inspiration and rejoice over all the very well styled fashionistas of Instagram. With my new schedule and lifestyle changes I've been dressing down a bit more lately. Less skirts and dresses and more jeans and button down shirts. Guess you can say I'm developing a thing for more of a menswear look.
Isn't it funny how the #ootd pics influence our outfit selections? I'm sure some of my #ootd crushes on Instagram have influenced me somehow in selecting this outfit. This weekend was super busy as usual. I wanted to wear something casual and somewhat comfortable. I am obsessed with these mom jeans from H&M. And I can't stop wearing this white button down also from H&M. I must have a dozen white button down shirts. I wear them all year long with trousers, jeans and skirts. I love the somewhat dressed up look they give to any outfit. The weather in New York City has been funny lately and I wasn't sure how much to layer up. So I topped the outfit with a vintage striped, textured wool blazer from 10ft by Stella Dallas and my new vintage navy blue trench coat from Etsy shop Nordic Retro Style. You can always tell I'm running all over the city when you see me in a head scarf and my gold converse sneakers. Also, can you believe that I wasn't wearing sunglasses?? That's mostly in part because I desperately need new ones! I liked this weekend/errand running outfit and look a lot. Hope you like it too!
