Happy 4th of July!
Happy 4th of July! I'm super excited for the holiday mostly because I get to wear this amazing vintage 60's dress from vintage Etsy shop Tati Tati Style and I'm headed on a amazing trip to Peru in just a few days! I fell in love with this dress after searching Etsy for a few days for the perfect dress for 4th of July. I wasn't sure what type of dress I was looking for until I saw this one. I loved the colors and floral print. I'm obsessed with long, maxi dresses like this. They are just so comfortable and easy to wear.
I wore this dress with red retro shades from Beacon's Closet and my favorite red purse from Housing Works Thrift Shops. I keep this look a little casual with lace up sandals from Urban Outfitters. I wear these all the time as they go with just about every outfit. Although this is a 60's dress I had to pair it with a 50's hair do and head scarf since I haven't been having the best hair days lately, lol. I just love this blue and red silky scarf from Etsy shop Hunky Dorry Vintage. I'm obsessed with color and print and this one is possibly my favorite vintage scarves.
I don't think I'll be wearing 50's retro turbans on my trip to Peru. For once I don't want to turn heads because of my outfit. I like to blend in as much as I can when I travel. I'm practically done packing and have stuffed my suitcase with some of my best and favorite fall outfits since it will be winter in Peru during my trip. I won't be posting until I return the week of the 17th. But please stay tuned to my Instagram, Facebook and Twitter feeds for pics from my trip. I'm sure I'll be posting a ton. It will be my third trip to Peru and I'll be hunting for vintage fashion in Peru although there isn't much and sharing all my shopping finds and adventures on the blog when I return.
Have a happy and safe 4th of July holiday!! What are your plans for the 4th of July? Also, are you headed on any fun trips this summer??
