My pink obsession

I think I read somewhere that the color pink was originally worn by men. I'm so glad it somehow became a color associated with girls because I LOVE pink. I'm not really sure why I'm so obsessed with pink. Maybe because it's such a cool and feminine color. It's my happy color for sure. I'm a bit of a tomboy but adding pink to my outfit or anything really instantly makes me feel girly.

So... I didn't get to write a post on Valentine's Day, one of my favorite holidays since it incorporates a lot of heart motifs and some pink. But I've decided to wear pink as much as possible for my next few outfit posts. I've been having a rough couple of weeks (man, who knew adulting could be so hard) and I'm hoping having a little more pink in my life will get me pumped back up after taking a short break from blogging.

I scored this fab pink dress from Moore Vintage. I met this awesome vintage seller last year at the Manhattan Vintage Show (save the date for the next Manhattan Vintage Show happening April 7th & 8th). I love Moore Vintage's amazing collection filled with extremely wearable and drool worthy pieces. I belted this fab pink vintage dress with a belt I scored from Hamlet's Vintage. I try not to be too matchy-matchy but couldn't help but wear this awesome pink coat from Fox & Fawn that matched the dress so wellI so need to get into the habit of wearing tights or stockings with dresses but until then I'll keep wearing jeans under dresses. Hehe. I wore my favorite jeans from East Village Vintage Collective. I just couldn't help but wear my favorite sunnies from Beacon's Closet & these cool oxfords from ASOS
