Plain & Simple: My Weekend Style
I've been all over the minimalist fashion trend since I've seen a surge of vintage Etsy and Instashops like Recap Vintage and Na Nin Vintage showcasing the very best of the 90's minimal trend that looks oh, so refreshing. After editing the photos for this blog post, this outfit kinda looks like a fun mix of a chic farmer with something Elaine Benes on Seinfeld would have worn. I'm a huge Seinfeld fan by the way.
At heart my fashion sense is that of a plain Jane, especially on the weekends. I snapped this pic after a very fun blogger brunch with some of my fabulous blogger babe friends, Clothes & Pizza, NY in the City, The Hidden Harmony and The Bargain District. We're the fab girls. Hehe. Check out our group pic. I never know what fun adventures I'm going to get into while I'm out and about on the weekends. While most folks may reach for sweats when running around town doing errands on the weekend, I tend to reach for anything denim.
I've been wearing this denim jumpsuit from Beatnik's Vintage, one of my top favorite Etsy shops like crazy. It's so comfy. I paired it with one of my favorite coats scored from Instashop Recap Vintage. For accessories, I went with my new pink hat from 10ft Single by Stella Dallas. I love this pop of color. I can't seem to stop wearing these sunglasses from Beacon's Closet and these cute and very versatile brogues from ASOS.
