How to mix vintage with modern

You'll usually catch me wearing vintage head to toe about 90% of the time. But when I'm mixing it up I wear my vintage pieces with modern ones from brands that I really love.
And I especially love fresh, new accessories from girl bosses like Oliver Thomas who happen to be doing really amazing things. I'm so hooked on accessories mostly because they can instantly transform a drab outfit into a fab one. And, man, do I love a good purse. I mean, who doesn't? I love neutral color purses since they go with everything! I also consider red a neutral. That’s why I went gaga when I laid my eyes on this red purse when recently checked out the Oliver Thomas collection.

Meeting Sue, the owner, and founder of Oliver Thomas was truly inspiring in so many ways. She’s a girl boss, the sweetest person, and has the cutest bags with an amazing story behind her newly launched line. Make sure to check her out on Instagram. I’m a dog lover and totally connected with this line that is named after her adorable Shih Tzu. The bags are even lined with drawings of the lovable pooch and his friends. I can’t wait to watch this awesome accessory brand grow because it has all the elements of everything that is truly fantastic: super cute bags and accessories that are functional and very affordable!

As soon as I saw this bag all I could think about was wearing it with a killer denim trench coat that I scored from one of my favorite vintage shops ran by another favorite girl boss of mine, The Bargain District. I’m officially hooked on jeans and denim anything and I'm so stocked that I was able to scored these high waisted jeans from Levi's at their super amazing Fashion Your Fit Dialog Series event in Soho. You'll catch me mixing up my vintage outfits a lot with these comfy jeans and adorable purse from Oliver Thomas.
