New Year's Eve Glam

Retro Year's Eve Outfit

Omg! Can you believe that it's almost Christmas ?? Last week I was so into my holiday party look. Many apologies for missing two holiday parties last week. There were just too many parties and events and not enough time. Also, I’m not as young as I used to be. Hehe. These back to back parties have been kicking my butt. And now I'm totally fast forwarding to my New Year’s Eve party outfit.

I live for dressing up and getting all glam for New Year’s Eve! One year I dressed so fancy to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants before a New Year’s Eve party. A week later the restaurant manager told me that our fellow diners were asking if I was a celeb. Lol!! This year I plan on wearing this retro and glam look but it’s such a pity that I’m only going to a local bar to ring in the new year. I totally don’t mind being overdressed in the slightest. New Year’s is one of my favorite holidays! How about you? It's such a magical holiday that gives us the greatest sense of having a fresh start and feeling amazing about renewing ourselves.

Enough of my rambling... Let’s talk about this fabulous outfit. I scored this amazing 1970's navy maxi dress from vintage Etsy shop, Harlow Girls. Navy is one of my favorite colors to wear and I instantly fell in love with this dress when I discovered it on Etsy. Not only is the color amazing but how romantic are these sheer pleated sleeves?? I've been wearing this faux fur coat practically every day and love how it makes everything feel so glam. And these silver mirror booties from ASOS are the most glam and fancy shoes that I own. I've been wearing them with just about everything. I love how they can be worn with so many looks. To top this fancy outfit off, I wore one of my favorite purses, thrifted from Housing Works Thrift Shops.
