How to Wear a Sweatshirt

Styling a Sweatshirt

Yay or no nay to tucking in a sweatshirt?? I totally went there and took the risk of tucking in this hand-painted sweatshirt from Muneca Mullins into these high waisted jeans. I'm just nuts about wearing anything high waisted. Maybe it’s because I'm still traumatized from so many years of wearing low rise jeans. They were totally cool to wear at some point in time, right?! Lol! I'm as equally in love with love high waisted bottoms as I am for girl boss, Muneca Mullins. This fabulous vintage studio and shop is the reason Why I left New York last year. But just to set the record, I left the island of Manhattan that I call home to visit and check out Muneca Mullins' awesome studio space and to vintage goodies.

Danielle, the owner of Muneca Mullins moved into a FABULOUS new space around the corner from her old space and I couldn't miss her party to celebrate the grand opening. I happily made the trip to Jersey, (officially known as New Jersey. Hehe) to check it out and party with this awesome hostess. I also checked out her vintage collection which was spectacular. While I was in New Jersey, I also met up with and took these AWESOME pics with Monica of The Dusty Rose. Check out her work here! She's such a doll and is a super talented photographer!

So, back to this outfit. I dared to pair this sweatshirt with these perfectly high waisted jeans that I can't stop wearing from Adie Holly. I also scored this fabulous hat from Muneca Mullins at the Manhattan Vintage Show this past October. Are you going to the next one happening Feb 2 and 3rd?? Get your ticket here and I'll see you there! This show is truly a vintage lover's paradise. I wanted to add a dressy touch to this look so I wore these fly silver boots from ASOS. You should score yourself a pair of them so we can be shoe twins! I wear these booties a bit too much and love how they go with just about everything I own. I swapped them for theses gold Converse I scored from DSW ages ago in the later pics for the walk to the studio opening. Long walks in heels of any kind just isn't my thing. Lol!

Thanks so much for reading!
