How to Wear Pink On Pink

Ugh. Why am I so addicted to the color pink?! I've talked about my pink obsession a few times. After years of wearing all black and finally ditching my head-to-toe black obsession, pink became my go-to and happy color. I'll totally buy something or opt for something just because it's pink. And any pink hue will do!

When I met up with the super talented Tom Schaefer for a photo shoot I just couldn't help but suggest the pinkest place I could think of, Pietro Nolita! Omg! Check out their Instagram. It's truly a pink lover's paradise. Sadly I haven't been inside yet but I'm saving that for a brunch date with my blogger babes sometime in the near future...And sorry for the sleepy look in my eyes in these pics. I was super tired (as always) from having too much fun and staying up way past my bedtime the night before. Lol!

What am I wearing did you ask? Something I’ve never really worn before...pink on pink. Because when you’re a lover of pink there is no such thing as too much pink. Hehe. I was a bit nervous wearing this much pink. But it felt soooo good and I’ll be doing it again in the near future. Seems like rocking pink on pink involves a bit of mixing the right shades of pink and wearing them with the utmost confidence. I totally went there and wore two different shades of pink with this fun bubblegum pink coat scored from Downhouse Vintage and thrifted bright pink beret. I wanted to go all out with the pink theme and wore it with this colorful silk blouse thrifted from Housing Works Thrift Shops with the perfect hints of pink in the pattern. Check out all my outfit details below!
