Gingham Jumpsuit

Vintage Jumpsuit Find at the Brooklyn Flea (a.k.a #bkflea)

Okay... Now I think it's safe to say that I need help with my addiction to jumpsuits. I've worn one three posts in a row. I only have one more but I think I'll save that one for my vacation starting next week (omg! eek. I can't wait!) But if wearing jumpsuits is wrong, I don't want to be right. Hehe!!

But how fab is the jumpsuit I'm wearing in this post???!! I discovered it while shopping with fellow vintage lover and truly the best shopping buddy ever, @mcsaunders at the Brooklyn Flea which is now my favorite flea market in New York City btw. Turns out that one of the sellers there, Vintage by Sue Harmon had a whole rack of vintage jumpsuits and I was just in heaven while going through the rack. I actually was hesitant to try on this beauty because it looked so long. But as my shopping buddy pointed out, I should try it on anyway because you never know how a jumpsuit will fit. And, boy was she right. It fit like a glove. I was immediately sold because it screamed summer while also being 100% cotton. I only wear cotton or linen in the summer because over sweating is just not a good look for me. Lol!

I've actually worn this sweet jumpsuit several times. It's just so comfy. I usually wear it with high top Converse but wanted to dress it up just a touch with these red slides from Steve Madden. I honestly don't love these shoes especially for summer for some reason but they'll have to do until I find a red pair of sandals or open toes. I know I'll love them come fall. And I couldn't help but wear this adorable basket purse from Omnia Clothing scored at The Manhattan Vintage Show.

Are you obsessed with wearing jumpsuits too?? How do you like to wear yours??
