Summer Neutrals

Skirt from Old Gem Vintage

For once I'm wearing neutrals from head to toe. I'm totally still a color lover. BUT lately, I've really been drawn to neutral colors. There's nothing like a good khaki or sage skirt or pant to pair with a crisp white blouse in the summertime. I made my friends chuckle when tried on a divine light brown linen wide-leg jumpsuit and confessed to them that I was secretly starting to already build my retirement wardrobe. I dream of retiring somewhere where I can pull off wearing the chicest yet neutral color palette all year long. Lol!

I kind of just noticed that I now have quite a nice collection of neutral pants, skirts, and dresses. I tend to wear them mostly in the summer though. They are my go to on a hot, summer day. I love pairing them with other neutrals too. I scored this out of this world skirt from Old Gem Vintage. I immediately fell in LOVE with it when I came across it on my Instagram feed. I live for full maxi skirts and started playing dress up in my head with all the ways I could wear this beauty.

Naturally,  I rushed over to Old Gem Vintage's Etsy shop and drolled over this skirt some more before adding it to my shopping cart. After a few days of dreaming about it, I finally bought it. It's such a great staple for my warm weather wardrobe and I've already packed it in my suitcase to wear on my trip to Europe. Stay tuned to my Instagram feed and stories to see how I style this awesome skirt on my travels. And just so you know I'm still obsessed with these dad sneakers I scored from DSW. They are oh, so comfy and with the length and fullness of this skirt, I just love them with this look.
